Values and beliefs about co-working
â¢What are the advantages of co-working? What might be the benefits for each of us if we work effectively together?
â¢What do I honestly think about the value of co-working? Would part of me prefer to work alone? Am I more used to working on my own? How might this show itself in the co-working relationship?
â¢What factors do I think contribute to effective co-working? Is it possible to learn and improve co-working skills?
â¢What is the value of becoming conscious of our co-working and developing the skills of mindful co-working? How can we help to improve each othersâ performance?
â¢How important is trust between co-workers?
â¢What are our prior positive and negative experiences of co-working, both professional and personal? What made these experiences positive or negative? What was the impact, short and long term, of these experiences? How did we respond at the time to those experiences, and what did we learn? How much responsibility do we take for the success or otherwise of those co-working relationships?
â¢If we have already been working together for a while, how are we doing? Are we stuck in a rut? Do we need to break some patterns? How can we work together to make things better today?
â¢How important does each of us think it is to âtune inâ with each other? What are our beliefs about what tuning in looks and feels like? In effect, what would it mean for us really to be on the same wavelength with each other? What would that look and feel like? How can we make that happen? Do we want to make that happen?
â¢What are the basic assumptions we need to be aware of, that might seem to be obvious or implicit, but which we may nevertheless need to name? For example, we might make the basic assumption that we hold the same values about the work and the client group. Or about the best processes for co-working. Letâs talk about these areas so we do not trip over assumptions.
